“NAMASTE 21 VISIT BULELENG”

Recently, Namaste 21 had the opportunity to participate in the Visit Buleleng Bali event held on April 28, 2024, organized by Sampoerna Untuk Indonesia, SETC, and BEDO. The journey of Namaste 21’s SMEs to Buleleng Regency was not just an invitation, but a stage to introduce the beauty of the Tourism Village to the world.

Our journey began at Taman Bung Karno in Sukasada District, where enchanting nature intertwines with rich history. This park, not only a refreshing green space but also presents living historical narratives, reviving the legacy and legends of Bung Karno.

Our next steps led us to Klenteng Tridharma Ling Gwan Kiong, a historical building and place of worship. Here, we were immersed in a profound journey into sturdy cultural roots. Continuing, we traveled to Omunity Bali Homestay, where we experienced the tranquility and warmth of local culture amidst rows of nature-themed homestays, where simplicity creates a comforting embrace.

But our adventure wasn’t over. Our journey continued to Esa Di Kubu Homestay, a place providing not only rest and a natural-themed lunch but also opening doors for us to understand local community life more closely. And all our tiredness was rewarded when we arrived at Sekumpul Waterfall. The stunning natural beauty and refreshing air truly left us in awe!

Below are detailed information about the places we visited:

Taman Bung Karno Taman Bung Karno, a spacious green open space covering an area of 22,016 m2 or about 2.20 hectares, located in Sukasada District, right on the route between Singaraja and Denpasar. Initially associated with Taman Gumi Banten, it was later developed as part of Sukarno Heritage in honor of Bung Karno as a national figure with a mother from the Paket Agung area. Taman Bung Karno has become a favorite tourist destination in Buleleng Regency with various attractive facilities such as an open stage for expression and creativity, a cool and soothing atmosphere, and supporting facilities such as kiosks and toilets. With its captivating charm, this park invites visitors to enjoy their leisure time comfortably. Come, visit Taman Bung Karno and experience its beauty!

Klenteng Ling Gwan Kiong Klenteng Ling Gwan Kiong, a magnificent Tri Dharma place of worship, located in Gumi Panji Sakti, Buleleng, Bali, has a long history of around 150 years. The building, rich in red, golden yellow, and white hues, has become an icon in the former Pelabuhan Buleleng heritage area. Since its establishment 139 years ago, this temple has undergone major renovations in 1970, the entire cost of which was obtained from donations from local Tridharma devotees and the Chinese community from various cities such as Singaraja, Denpasar, Surabaya, Jakarta, and surrounding areas. In 2000, the local government granted land management permission in front of the temple, which was then used to build a gate and garden. The presence of these gate and garden adds to the beauty of the surrounding environment, making the former Pelabuhan Buleleng a charming place. This temple not only serves as a place of worship but also is one of the main tourist destinations in Buleleng Regency, North Bali, which is always crowded with domestic and foreign tourists.
